Bryan's 24 day Challenge



Here is my attempt to provide a healthy alternative to popular weight loss programs/cleanses. Most of these programs work because they're specific, social, and time limited. Unfortunately they're also usually expensive. My option minimizes costs while also reducing the time spent cooking and thinking. Try it for 3 weeks and see for yourself.

Breakfast
32oz of Kefir (yogurt smoothie)

Lunch
1/2 cup Almonds
Celery or Carrots
 
 
Dinner
4-6oz of protein
2-4 servings of non-starchy vegetables
1-2 tablespoons of butter, ghee, or coconut oil

Exercise

60 minutes a day Monday to Friday
Make it social and fun 
Running groups accommodate a wide variety of abilities 
Yoga 
Indoor rock climbing
Spinning
Walk through an interesting neighborhood

Supplements 
No need to spend a lot of money
Kefir - probiotics, protein, calcium, and vitamin D to cleanse your system and enhance your immune system 
1 cup of black coffee in the morning to stimulate metabolism and alertness
Caffeine free Tea or Hot water with lemon in afternoon or evening to help stay alert throughout the day
Too much caffeine increases our cravings for sweets
 
 

Protein
Chicken - breasts, thighs, drumsticks
Red meat - steaks, ground beef, roasts
Pork - chops, ribs, pulled pork
Fish - salmon, trout, tilapia, tuna, seabass
Eggs - scrambled, poached, souffle
Make it easy and designate specific proteins for each day of the week (e.g. Chicken on Mondays & Thursdays)

Vegetables
Asparagus, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower Green Beans, Salad

Essential Fatty Acids
Butter, Ghee, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, or Avocados
